  • me.

I am a freshly graduated Software Engineer. I obtained a Bachelor of Engineering at Napier University and a Master of Science at Edinburgh University.

For 3 years, I have been living in Edinburgh, city that I deeply love. Now that I finished my studies, comes the time for me to think about leaving it. I want to see more.

I am a curious person who is interested in many subjects and disciplines. For example, I am interested in many sports. Unfortunately, there is never enough time for me to do everything. I like starting new experiences and learning form them. Therefore I like traveling a lot and meeting different people. This is also why I am interested in entrepreneurship, as I think it is an excellent way to have different challenges every day, and it is a really rewarding activity.

To read more about my education and my professional objectives, please visit the Software Engineering section.

As a teenager I always wanted to work in “Sciences”. I suppose that my education made me someone pragmatic and rigorous, which is one of the reasons I like Sciences. As I grew I got interested about various disciplines such as palaeontology and entomology. At some point, I even thought of becoming a doctor (after watching E.R. way to much I suppose). Later I realise I was more interested in Engineering and I started studying Computer Science.

As I was studying “Informatique”, as we call it in France, I focused on Software Engineer while keeping an interest on Web Development. What interested me the most in these subjects is their creative aspect: I love to start with a clear problem, build a solution from scratch and see the result of my work. Nothing is more satisfying than finding solutions for a problem which will have an impact on people’s life.

I am a talented Software Engineer with competences in various languages. I really love programming with Php or Java. While being proficient in software languages due to my university major, I have also learned web languages thanks to personal and academicals projects. In the last decade, incredible innovations led the Web to become so much more dynamic than in the past (with really boring static pages). This Web, centre of all our interactions, is the place where I would love to use my developer skills.
